Consultation and patch test
We look at your hair and skin, check medications and recent sun exposure, and run a patch test. Ten minutes, and it decides the settings for everything that follows.

Sessions, 4–6 weeks apart
A laser only affects follicles that are actively growing, and they are never all growing at once. Most people book 6–8 sessions — face closer to 4 weeks apart, body 6.

After a full course most areas need only an occasional top-up. We will tell you when you are done rather than keep selling you sessions.

What the Soprano does — and what it cannot.
The Soprano is a diode laser that works in motion, delivering energy gradually instead of in single high-energy pulses. That is what makes it comfortable, and it is why it is suitable for all skin types — including deeper skin, which older systems could not treat safely. We still patch test every new client before the first full session.
Where laser will disappoint you
The laser finds hair by its pigment. Blonde and red hair respond poorly, and white or grey hair does not respond at all — no machine changes that. If that is your hair, we will say so before you pay, and talk about what else might help.

How many sessions will I actually need?
Most areas take 6–8 sessions. Hair grows in cycles and a laser only affects follicles in the active phase, so no single session can catch everything. Face is usually spaced about 4 weeks apart, body 5–6. We give you a realistic number for your area and your hair at the consultation, not a sales figure.
Does it hurt?
Less than older systems. The Soprano works in motion with a cooled handpiece, so most clients describe it as a warm rubber-band flick rather than a sting. Coarse areas — brazilian, underarms — feel more than fine ones like the upper lip. Tell us during the session and we adjust.
How do I prepare?
Shave the area 12–24 hours before. Do not wax, pluck, thread or epilate for four weeks beforehand — the laser needs the root still in place. Avoid sunbathing and self-tan for two weeks before, and come with clean skin, no deodorant or make-up on the area.
What happens afterwards?
The skin may look slightly pink and feel warm for a few hours. Skip the sauna, hot yoga and very hot showers for 24 hours, and use SPF on exposed areas between sessions. Shedding over the following week or two is normal — that is treated hair leaving, not regrowth.
Will it work on my skin tone?
